Sceptical? Good. Switch the light off.
Moonmen is a sitting astronaut, about the height of a mug, that throws a nebula and a scatter of stars across the ceiling. No app. No light strip. No speech about wellness. Just the room, changed.

In the box
Nothing to download. Nothing to stick to the wall.
- One Moonman in the finish and look you picked — star hug or guitar, lunar white or eclipse black.
- One USB cable. Ivory braid on white, red braid on black. It plugs into the backpack. You bring the charger you already own.
- 125mm tall, 85mm wide. It sits. It does not clamp, tape, or need a bracket.
Ten seconds. Then look up.

Sit it down
Bedside, shelf, desk. 125mm tall. It does not need a clear run of skirting board.
02
Cable in the backpack
USB. The charger you already use for your phone. Switch on the helmet.

Kill the big light
Nebula on the ceiling. Stars on the walls. That is the whole manual.

What actually changes is the ceiling.
A still ceiling is a dull trick. Moonmen puts a cloud of colour and a field of sharp stars where the big light used to be. Green, blue, red, magenta — the skies in the picture, not a filter invented in the caption.

Why people bin the strip.
The clips keep starting in the same place: a line of LEDs, a corner, a remote. Then an astronaut. Here is the difference, without the voiceover.
| Moonmen | Another LED strip | |
|---|---|---|
| On the ceiling | Nebula and stars | A line, if it reaches |
| On the shelf | A small astronaut | A reel and some clips |
| Setup | USB into the backpack | Tape, corners, a lost remote |
| App | None | Often |
| Size | 85 × 125 mm | However long the roll is |
| When you move house | Pick it up | Peel, and repaint |

The objections, answered before the basket.

It’s tiny.
125mm. The doubt is always the size. Look at the bedroom photo again. The throw is the product.
The guitar must be a speaker.
It isn’t. If you want a speaker, this is the wrong lamp. If you want the room changed, stay.
I’ll get a cheaper strip.
You can. Half the clips on this page start with someone peeling one off. Watch those before you decide.
27 clips · none left out
Still not convinced? Watch them argue with themselves.
Every film that came with this lamp is on this page. Rooms, unboxings, people peeling LED strips off the wall and putting an astronaut on the table instead. Press play on the lot if you want the full case.

Questions, including the rude ones.
Will it actually cover a normal UK bedroom?
From a bedside table it throws nebula and stars across the ceiling and the wall opposite. The photos and every room clip on this page are the coverage — not a render. It will not light a hall for a party. It will change a bedroom, a desk, a student room.
The guitar plays music, right?
No. We would rather lose the sale than let you find out later. The guitar and the star are the sculpt. Moonmen is a lamp. There is no speaker, no playlist, and no app.
Do I need a hub, a remote, or an account?
No. The cable plugs into the backpack. A switch on the helmet runs it. Any USB plug you already own is enough — phone charger, laptop, the brick in the drawer.
Is the light different in black and white?
The projection is the same idea: a soft nebula and a field of sharp stars, in the greens, blues, reds and magentas you can see in the films. Black reads sharper on a shelf. White disappears into a bedroom. Pick the one you’ll leave out.
How big is it, honestly?
85mm across the helmet, 125mm tall. About a large mug. The doubt is always the size. The picture on the ceiling is not 125mm.
What if I think it’s a gimmick when it arrives?
Put it on the table and turn the big light off. The bedroom photo and the clips on this page are the coverage — that is the pitch. If you wanted a speaker, this is the wrong lamp.
When does it leave, and what does delivery cost?
Free to UK addresses. Orders placed on a working day are dispatched the next working day. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland can take a little longer than the mainland.
Is the half-price offer a pretend was-price?
The crossed-out price is the standard Moonmen price, £59.90 for one. Launch week is half: £29.95. The pair, trio and crew are cut further. The countdown is that week — it ends Friday 16 October 2026, 23:59 UK time.
